Authorization Specialist for Functional Family Therapy program Part-time Split Office Position- York, Gettysburg, Harrisburg, with primary office location in Hanover, PA Monday – Friday, NO WEEKENDS

Pay Rate starts at $14.28 and increases with experience.

- Provide excellent customer service to clients/families and build rapport.
- The ability to obtain, verify, and review accurate insurance benefit information with clients.
- Ensuring the program is complying with state regulations.
- Ability to set up electronic medical record for new clients.
- Be proactive and prioritize work tasks independently.
- Function effectively as a team member which includes multiple locations as well as external organizations and insurance companies.
- Ability to problem solve and to demonstrate proficiency in computer skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience with health insurance companies, medical record systems, medical billing and coding is preferred.
- Required clearances and training: PA Child Abuse History Certificate, PA State Police, and FBI Fingerprint Check and Mandated Reporting Training. If applicants don't already have these clearances, the agency can provide instructions on how to apply for them.
- Proficiency with Word, Outlook, and the internet.
- Applicants must have reliable transportation.
