Sierra Sage Treatment Center provides residential treatment for young women in a safe, supportive, nurturing environment. Through accredited education, vocational training, and a normalized high school experience, we give our youth the skills to overcome abuse, neglect, trauma, substance abuse, mental illness, and violence — so they can build healthy futures.

We’re looking for a Therapist to join our clinical team.

Why Sierra Sage:
Unlike private practice, where your income depends on how many clients you can churn through in a day, our model is built around collaboration, not productivity quotas. You’ll work as part of a true multi-disciplinary team — clinicians, educators, and residential staff working from one integrated treatment plan — instead of carrying a caseload alone. No billing pressure, no productivity targets.

Just the time and support to do deep clinical work with a residential population whose needs go far beyond what a 50-minute weekly session can address.

Invest in your growth, on our dime. We provide paid clinical supervision toward licensure, plus training and certification in evidence‑based practices — so you’re not funding your own professional development or hunting down a supervisor on the side. Build your clinical skill set while you build your career.

Pay:
Starting at $80,000-$100,000/year, DOE and licensure.

Perks & Benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, and company‑paid Life Insurance within 90 days. 403(b) match up to 6% after one year. Paid Time Off usable as soon as it accrues, and more. Full benefits details

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy as indicated by program and school needs.
  • Develop and oversee treatment across individual, family, and group modalities — clinical assessment, service planning, milieu therapy, counseling, case management, record keeping, and coordination with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Build expertise in differential assessment, treatment readiness, change models, and motivational interviewing — with the backing of a collaborative clinical team, not in isolation.
  • Assess and document the effectiveness of interventions against treatment plan goals.
  • Document all therapy sessions and client‑related contacts.
  • Empathetic, patient, and respectful in your work with others.
  • Current licensure as required by your program location.
  • Willingness to obtain required CEUs annually to maintain licensure.
  • One year of prior experience in a residential or school setting with at‑risk youth, their families, and/or the Juvenile Justice System.
  • Eligible to be an ROP driver: current state driver’s license and acceptable driving record for the past three years.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
