The Licensed Psychologist position with the Department of Human Services (DHS) at the Selinsgrove Center offers an exciting chance to use your expertise to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This position provides psychological services to individuals with developmental disabilities through evaluation, treatment, and collaboration with clinical staff. It plays a key role in supporting individualized plans and ensuring thoughtful, effective care. As a Licensed Psychologist, you will perform the following duties:
- Psychological Evaluation: Assess individuals through medical and social case record reviews, interviews, and observations
- Test Administration: Select, administer, and interpret psychological tests to diagnose needs and guide treatment
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clinical staff to develop individualized treatment plans
- Therapeutic Services: Use various psychological techniques to support therapy and behavior modification to treat disorders

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss progress and coordinate care - Documentation Duties: Prepare reports and maintain treatment records consistent with clinical standards
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 1st shift (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirements:
- You must possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.
