We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Human Resources Administrative Coordinator Intern who is interested in gaining hands‑on experience in Human Resources administration. This internship is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field who enjoy organization, problem-solving, and working with data.
Position SummaryThe Human Resources Administrative Coordinator Intern will provide administrative support to the HR team while gaining exposure to a variety of Human Resources functions, including employee records management, reporting, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
- Create, update, and maintain HR spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining confidential employee records.
- Support onboarding and new hire documentation processes.
- Prepare HR documents, correspondence, and presentations.
- Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Assist with auditing personnel files and HR documentation for compliance.
- Coordinate electronic filing and document management.
- Schedule meetings and assist with HR projects as assigned.
- Provide professional customer service to employees and internal stakeholders.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, sorting, filtering, formatting, and data management required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous administrative experience is a plus but not required.
- Hands‑on experience working alongside HR professionals.
- Exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources operations.
- Experience working with HR systems, employee records, and reporting.
