We are currently seeking a Recruitment and Retention Specialist who implements strategies and programs that attract, hire, engage, and retain a high-quality and compassionate workforce. This role partners with staff and management across the organization to improve the candidate and employee experience, strengthen onboarding integration with retention focused practices, and ensure recruiting processes are efficient, effective, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals and meet internal KPIs.
UCFS Hours of Operation:
Open 8:00am - 7:00pm;
Hours Vary By Day & Location

Schedule:
FT, 40 hours/week;
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Implement recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals, staffing plans, and workforce needs.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through networking, community partnerships, employee referral programs, social media and workforce outreach initiatives.
- Develop or support new and existing relationships with schools, colleges and universities to expand internship, student and residency opportunities at UCFS across all clinical areas.
- Implement retention strategies that align with organizational goals, staffing plans, and workforce needs.
- Identify drivers of turnover and coordinate retention initiatives, including exit interviews, stay interviews, onboarding improvements, career development support, recognition practices and engagement efforts
- Responsible for necessary invoice coding and reconciliation for recruitment and retention vendors.

Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
- One to three years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or employee engagement/retention initiatives.
- Three years of proven success in relationship building, decision making, and strict time management.
Minimum Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- A valid driver's license and state mandated levels of auto liability insurance required.

- Proficiency in task and project management
- Ability to adhere to deadlines
- Timely follow-up in all mediums of communication
- Exceptional relationship building skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment strategies, onboarding practices and employee retention principles.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and hiring compliance requirements
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms and standard reporting tools
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to analyze data and provide possible improvements based on insights
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively with employees at all levels within and outside of an organization
