Kent Innovations is the technical services arm of Kent Displays Inc., a specialty manufacturer and technology licensor in the advanced display and sensor space. Our clients include federal agencies, defense primes, and industrial partners and our website needs to reflect that credibility and generate qualified inbound leads.
You’ll own the full digital presence: redesigning pages for clarity and conversion, building SEO authority in a niche B2B market, running and optimizing Google Ads campaigns, and critically ensuring we show up when prospective clients search using AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews. This is a high-visibility role with direct access to senior leadership. The ad budget managed is approximately $1K-$3K/month with growth based on performance.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES Website & UX
- Audit and redesign key landing pages for B2B lead conversion
- Write clear, jargon‑right copy for technical service offerings
- Improve site speed, mobile experience, and CRO basics
- Maintain CMS and coordinate with developers as needed
- Keyword research for niche technical markets
- Build backlink and citation strategy
- Track rankings via Google Search Console and third‑party tools
- Set up or audit existing Search campaigns
- Manage budget pacing, bidding, and negative keywords
- Write and test ad copy for technical services
- Report on ROAS, CPL, and monthly conversion quality
- Optimize content to appear in AI Overviews and LLM citations
- Structure content for Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Gemini retrieval
- Monitor brand mentions across AI platforms
- Build FAQ, structured data, and entity disambiguation content
- Studying or recently graduated in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field — or self‑taught with a strong portfolio
- Hands‑on experience with Google Ads (can demonstrate campaign setup and budget management — not just theoretical)
- Working knowledge of on‑page SEO: keyword research, meta structure, Google Search Console
- Comfortable writing for a technical B2B audience — you don’t need a physics degree, but you need to learn the vocabulary fast
- Curious about how AI search tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) surface and rank information
- Self‑directed, organized, and comfortable reporting metrics to leadership
- Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in marketing, communication, digital media, or a related field
- Google Ads certified
- Familiarity with Webflow, Word Press, or similar CMS
- Experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Prior federal contractor or defense industry exposure
- Continually required to stand, walk, sit, and utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
- Frequently required to talk or hear
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds
