We are searching for an energetic individual to intern at our progressive insurance agency in South Philadelphia as a Customer Advocate. The paid intern will report directly to George Hatton – the Philadelphia Office Manager. The Ferullo Insurance Agency needs an independent person willing to learn all divisions of the insurance business including automobile, homeowner, boat, motorcycle and business.

The daily responsibilities will include contacting potential clients through blast emails, updating client information, inputting client payments and providing receipts. The candidate will also make outbound calls and emails to our clients to notify them of past due policy amounts and cancellation dates. You will also be required to scan policy documents and process name, mailing address and email addresses to our clients accounts.

The intern will handle telephone calls, process fax requests and correspondence from our clients. The intern will print and provide policy declarations and identification cards to our clients. The individual must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work closely with our agency staff. Training will be provided for you by our Office Manager. The training will include multiple insurance company underwriting guidelines, software programs and websites.

You will be trained on Microsoft 10 operating system, Docusign, Easy File, Agency Matrix contact management and DYL telephone systems. You will be provided with your own workstation, desktop and telephone. The office is professionally maintained, easily accessible by public transportation and has plenty of street parking available.
