Responsible for operating production equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Operate machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor production processes and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Complete production records and documentation accurately
  • Support cleaning, setup, and changeover activities
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
  • Identify and report process deviations, defects, or improvement opportunities
  • Teamwork and communication
  • Time management and reliability
  • Safety awareness
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to procedures
  • Basic computer and documentation skills
Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2-5 years mechanical / manufacturing experience.
Certificates and Licenses
  • Standing for extended periods
  • May require lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
KPIs / Performance Metrics
  • Production output vs. target
  • Quality (defect rate, rework)
  • Downtime and equipment efficiency
  • Safety compliance
  • Attendance and reliability

2nd shift:
Monday – Friday 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

3rd shift:
Monday
-Thursday 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
