The Preferred Nanny, a Pittsburgh-based nanny agency serving families for 15 years, recently launched The Sitter Source
, an app-based babysitting service connecting families with trusted, vetted caregivers for occasional childcare needs. We are looking for a creative college student who is passionate about social media, video content, and storytelling to help us grow our online presence and share our services with Pittsburgh families.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands‑on experience creating engaging content for a growing local brand. The ideal candidate enjoys being creative, understands current social media trends, and can help bring ideas to life through short‑form video.

Responsibilities may include:

• Filming short‑form video content for Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook
• Editing videos and creating engaging social media content
• Brainstorming creative content ideas that showcase our services, caregivers, and the families we support
• Helping develop authentic, relatable content that connects with local parents
• Assisting with building brand awareness for The Preferred Nanny and The Sitter Source
• Participating in occasional in‑person filming sessions in the Pittsburgh area

Ideal Candidate:

• Creative and comfortable creating video content
• Familiar with Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook trends
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and bring new ideas to the table
• Interested in marketing, communications, social media, digital media, or content creation

Experience creating social media content is a plus, but we are also open to students who are passionate about creating videos, staying up to date with social media trends, and are excited to learn.
