About the Role

The My Home Pathway Ambassador Program is a paid opportunity for college students and young leaders to join our Community Engagement Team and make a real difference in Queens, NY. Ambassadors will receive free financial literacy training and take part in community outings where they connect with residents, share resources, and guide families through the steps that make home ownership more achievable.

This work will support our Home Nurture Program — an initiative designed to bring education and housing resources directly into neighborhoods. Ambassadors will help expand access to information and opportunities for families who need it most. You can learn more about the Home Nurture Program here:  .

Responsibilities
  • Serve as part of the Community Engagement Team during scheduled outreach outings in Queens, NY
  • Share information about My Home Pathway’s free resources and platform
  • Speak with residents about the steps to home ownership and available support
  • Encourage sign-ups and interest in My Home Pathway programs
  • Represent the organization with professionalism, cultural awareness, and community pride

What We’re Looking For
  • Current college students or recent graduates passionate about community impact

  • Interest in financial literacy, housing equity, or community development is a plus
Requirements
  • Availability for scheduled community outings (typically 3 hours each)
  • Willingness to complete My Home Pathway’s financial literacy training
  • Commitment to serving as a positive representative of the organization
