spurwink|ri is seeking a candidate(s) to assist in the position of Community Connector Specialist to assist adults and transition age students with researching and developing integrated community based opportunities/activities using a person-centered approach. This is a grant funded position with potential growth opportunities. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, resourceful, demonstrate initiative, strong interpersonal skills, strong writing skills. Previous experience with special needs population is preferred but not required.
spurwink|ri is an established non-profit, (originated in 1982) Human Service agency providing adult services, special education, and supported employment services through our Voclinks community based day program, throughout all of RI. The mission of spurwink|ri is to assist children and adults with disabilities in pursuing social, educational, vocational and other life enhancing opportunities.
