Position OverviewGreen Apple Barter is seeking a motivated and outgoing Junior Trade Broker (Sales & Business Development) to join our growing team. This is an excellent entry‑level to early‑career opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term career in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
In this role, you’ll work directly with local businesses, helping them discover how barter can generate new customers, reduce expenses, and create new opportunities for growth. This is a relationship‑driven sales position ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building connections, and developing strong communication skills.

Responsibilities- Prospect and connect with local businesses through calls, email outreach, networking, and referrals
- Introduce prospective clients to the Green Apple Barter network and explain the benefits of barter
- Build relationships with business owners through consistent communication and follow‑up
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities
- Conduct introductory meetings and presentations with potential clients
- Identify business needs and recommend valuable barter opportunities
- Assist with onboarding new clients into the network
- Promote barter opportunities, events, and special promotions
- Track outreach, leads, and sales activity using internal software systems
- Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and mentorship
- Assist with marketing initiatives, networking events, and special projects
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized and detail‑oriented
- Positive, professional, and dependable
- Strong multitasking and problem‑solving abilities
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or marketing experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- 20% commission on cash fees generated from your clients
