Community Support Clinician (Youth & Family Services)

Rise Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Community Support Clinician to join our team serving youth and families throughout Hampton Roads.

This position provides community-based therapeutic and skill-building services to youth and families experiencing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. Many of the youth served have histories of juvenile justice involvement, trauma exposure, emotional dysregulation, family conflict, and behavioral concerns.

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and support to youth and families in home, community, and virtual settings.
  • Implement individualized interventions focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, problem-solving, and healthy decision‑making.
  • Facilitate life skills training, mentoring, and psycho educational activities.
  • Support youth in developing communication, conflict resolution, and social skills.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, probation officers, schools, and other community partners as appropriate.
  • Complete documentation in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, childcare, mental health, human services, education, juvenile justice, or a related field.
  • Experience working with youth and families preferred.
  • Ability to build rapport with adolescents from diverse backgrounds.
  • Must be able to travel throughout any city within Hampton Roads
    .
  • Comfortable conducting sessions in-home, in the community, and virtually
    .
  • Current CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
    .
  • Must complete a 10‑hour onboarding training program prior to direct client interactions
    .
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
