Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Role

The best product managers don’t just manage roadmaps. They figure out what should exist—and make sure it gets built.

This is not a role where you update Jira tickets, take meeting notes, and wait for someone to hand you requirements.

You will work directly with the founders, engineers, designers, and early users to shape Skarmy from the ground up. You are half product thinker, half builder.

Your job is to make Skarmy feel so simple and powerful that anyone can turn an idea into a company.

What You Will Own
  • Product discovery. Talk to founders, observe how they use Skarmy, identify where they get stuck, and turn those insights into product decisions.
  • Product strategy. Help decide what we should build, what we should ignore, and what will make Skarmy fundamentally different from every other AI product.
  • Feature execution. Turn ambiguous ideas into clear product requirements, user flows, prototypes, and shipped features.
  • AI agent experience. Design how users interact with Skarmy’s agents, including planning, task delegation, approvals, company memory, and execution.
  • Rapid prototyping. Use tools like Figma, Lovable, Claude Code, and Cursor to test ideas before engineering spends weeks building them.
  • Product quality. Use the product constantly. Find confusing experiences, broken workflows, weak outputs, and anything that prevents users from reaching value.
  • Our first 100 companies. Help onboard them, study their behavior, collect feedback, and turn what we learn into a product people cannot stop using.
What We Are Looking For
  • You have exceptional product taste. You notice when something is confusing, ugly, slow, or unnecessary.
  • You are deeply curious about how people build companies and how AI will change the way they work.
  • You can take a vague problem, develop a strong point of view, and turn it into something concrete.
  • You are comfortable talking to users and asking questions that uncover what they actually need.
  • You are technical enough to communicate clearly with engineers and ideally prototype ideas yourself.
  • You move quickly. You would rather test an imperfect idea today than debate the perfect version for three weeks.
  • You are unusually good be you built an app for your friends, grew an online community, automated your family business, or launched a strange side project.
  • You have high agency. When you see a problem, you take ownership of it.
  • You are obsessive about details but understand when speed matters more than perfection.
Bonus
  • You have built products using AI coding or no-code tools.
  • You have experience with Figma, Linear, Post Hog, SQL, or analytics tools.
  • You have previously launched a startup, side project, or consumer product.
  • You are deeply connected to the startup ecosystem.

We work five to six days a week from our San Francisco office. One of those days is social time: we go out, attend concerts, eat KBBQ, decompress, and remember that we are humans. The rest of the time, we are building.
