A PE‑backed manufacturing/distribution company is looking for a Senior Accountant
Salary: Base Salary: $115,000 – $130,000+ eligible for bonus
100% Onsite
Role Requirements:
- Ownership of month‑end close activities across corporate entities
- High‑volume balance sheet and GL reconciliations
- Intercompany accounting, eliminations, and monthly flux analysis
- Assist with consolidations and corporate financial reporting processes
- Support external audit by preparing PBC schedules and maintaining required internal controls
- Participate in acquisition and integration work as needed
- Engage with treasury, tax, and other cross‑functional areas for ad‑hoc reporting and process support
- Improve and document close, reconciliation, and reporting processes to create scalable accounting infrastructure as the company grows
- ERP experience required (SAP, JD Edwards preferred); strong Excel skills expected
Preferred Experience:
- Manufacturing or distribution industry background
- Experience with in a private equity‑backed environment
- Exposure to cost accounting (inventory, variances, commissions, rebates, warranties)
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience with a public + corporate mix, or deep multi‑entity corporate accounting background
- Hands‑on experience with close, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting
- Strong GAAP foundation; demonstrates ability to research and resolve accounting issues
- Effective in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments where priorities shift quickly
- Strong attention to detail; able to own processes independently
- Demonstrated ability to streamline or improve accounting processes
- Communicates clearly and works effectively with cross‑functional teams
