Senior Accountant

Accountants One has been hired by a highly respected organization in Duluth to identify an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will play a key role in managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
• Maintain the integrity of all accounting records, ledgers, and reporting systems.
• Supervise the accounts receivable function, including billing, cash application, and collections activities.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and key performance metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Mentor, develop, and supervise accounting staff to support team performance and professional growth.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision‑making.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of full‑cycle accounting, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, General Ledger, Revenue Recognition, and Payroll.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Quick Books and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
