Our team is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Office Receptionist to join our busy practice. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for our patients from the moment they walk in the door.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction: Greet and check‑in patients with a warm and professional demeanor. Verify patient information and ensure accuracy.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations, ensuring optimal patient flow and efficient use of providers’ time.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries, transferring calls, and taking accurate messages.
  • Administrative Support: Handle front office tasks such as filing, scanning, and managing patient records. Assist with insurance verification and referrals as needed.
  • Data Entry: Input and update patient information into the electronic health records (EHR) system with precision and confidentiality.
  • Patient Flow: Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized. Monitor patient flow and communicate with clinical staff regarding patient status.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or medical reception is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or front office role, preferably in a medical or orthopaedic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EHR systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
