Director, Corporate Partnerships – Role Summary
The Director of Corporate Partnerships reports to the Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships & Strategic Accounts and leads a team of Strategic Account Managers assigned to select U.S./Global accounts. The role drives growth strategy, P/L responsibility, and customer value creation across B2B and corporate settings.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute U.S. strategy, goals and solutions within joint customer business plans to achieve mutual value and long‑term growth.
- Lead a dedicated account team, ensuring excellence in action plans and initiatives, and monitor performance against financial targets.
- Drive account performance to meet or exceed company sales, contract and market‑share objectives.
- Build and maintain executive relationships with C‑suite and other stakeholders, facilitating face‑to‑face visits and collaboration.
- Directly coach and develop Strategic/Corporate Account Managers, conducting performance reviews and implementing talent development.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Commercial, Marketing, Technical, Finance, Legal, Supply & Logistics) to support account plans.
- Collaborate with Global Strategic Account Management to share insights, identify opportunities and support global strategy.
- Participate in budgeting, long‑range planning and financial trend analysis for U.S. accounts.
- Ensure contractual deliverables and financial performance meet business goals.
- B.S./B.A. degree required; M.B.A., Veterinary, Animal Science or related degree preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in animal health or related industry, with 7+ years in sales management, account management or business operations.
- 3–5 years of experience leading sales or account management teams.
- Demonstrated record of exceeding sales goals and quotas.
- Strong understanding of BI products, animal health economics and valuation in a global context.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong learning agility, change management ability and business/financial acumen.
- Proficient in business software applications.
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel up to 80% (domestic and international).
- Strategic & key account management experience in a multinational environment.
- Ability to lead without authority and inspire teams.
- Ability to sell and gain market share.
- In‑depth knowledge of veterinary clinic industry drivers.
