In this position, you play a key resource in supporting QTS’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) program, driving implementation, communications, and integration of sustainable practices across the company. The Sustainability Coordinator is the centralized resource responsible for providing high-level administrative, project support and coordination for sustainability initiatives. You will collaborate heavily with cross‑functional teams nationwide to further drive corporate sustainability initiatives, attending conferences and internal meetings as needed.

With increasing attention from customers, senior leadership and global markets, sustainability is a key pillar of our business with ties to many different areas of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and improve ESG data collection processes by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Track, analyze, and progress against our targets and industry benchmarks.
  • Assist with data entry, data management, and reporting.
  • Continuously improve environmental data quality and refine accounting methodologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to collect more accurate data and develop new methodologies, processes, and standards for robust impact measurement.
  • Update business information tools, spreadsheets, and presentations to reflect the latest information and identify workflow improvements.
  • Source, automate, and analyze data from company operations to measure and monitor greenhouse gas emissions and other sustainability‑related metrics.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1‑3 years of quantitative experience in GHG accounting, corporate sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks, specifically SASB, TCFD, and GRI.
Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem‑solving and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Motivation, discipline, and ability to work effectively autonomously with decisive communication.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
