OTR Brokerage Manager

Responsibilities

• Network Optimization: develop and manage high-density OTR lanes to balance headhaul and backhaul freight, minimizing empty miles and improving network efficiency.
• Capacity Strategy: build and maintain a core network of vetted, high-reliability carriers to support consistent service levels.
• Carrier Sourcing: identify and onboard strategic carrier partners for high‑volume and core lanes.
• Exception Management: serve as the final escalation point for complex transit issues, including equipment breakdowns, weather‑related disruptions, service failures, and freight claims.
• Regulatory & Safety Compliance: ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and internal carrier qualification standards.
• Fraud Prevention: implement and oversee advanced identity verification and fraud‑prevention processes to mitigate risks related to double‑brokering and cargo theft.

• 5–10+ years of experience in logistics or transportation, including at least 3 years in a management role within a non‑asset OTR brokerage environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work weekends as required based on business needs and workload.
• Professional working proficiency in both Korean and English.
