Position: Assistant Account Manager (P&C)

Job Overview

As an Assistant Account Manager in Mid‑South Specialties, you will be responsible for any operational aspects of an account as well as day‑to‑day activities. This position requires a positive and coachable attitude, strong multi‑tasking and prioritizing skills.

Location

Duluth, Georgia (in‑office, Monday to Friday)

What You’ll Do
  • Act as client advocate always.
  • Maintain a positive relationship and excellent communication with client and co‑workers.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, mail, and email in a professional and courteous manner. Strive to resolve all inquiries during first communication with client.

  • Become a student of the business. Seek insurance knowledge through training and education.
What You’ll Bring
  • High School / GED Education required / College Graduate Preferred
  • P&C Insurance License or related work experience preferred.
  • If not currently licensed, it must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Working knowledge of computers and relevant software applications, i.e., MS Office, Outlook, etc.
Skills and Abilities
  • Possess excellent written, verbal, listening and organizational skills.
  • Strong Language, Mathematical, Analytical and Reasoning ability.
  • Must be able to work within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency when responding to an inquiry.
  • Must possess the ability to multi‑task and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Must possess attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Attend internal and external training classes and seminars.
  • Must be able to keep information confidential.
Compensation

The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
