Job Overview
Assistant Account Manager – Mid‑South Specialties. Responsible for operational aspects of accounts and day‑to‑day activities. Requires a positive, coachable attitude and strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
LocationDuluth, Georgia. In‑office Monday–Friday position.
What you’ll do- Act as client advocate.
- Maintain positive relationships and excellent communication with clients and co‑workers.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, mail, and email in a professional and courteous manner; strive to resolve inquiries on first contact.
- Handle certificate requests.
- Follow up on notices of cancellation.
- Issue auto .
- Process policy change requests.
- Check mailbox daily.
- Post to online rating for small business.
- Follow up for renewal policy issuance.
- Create renewal proposals.
- Manage binders.
- Handle invoicing.
- Conduct process audits.
- Post documents to EPIC portal.
- Update Sagitta.
- Obtain loss runs.
- Prepare policy checklists.
- Run M&S reports.
- Obtain premium finance quotes.
- Run MVRs.
- File paperlessly.
- Create loss summary tracking.
- Prepare Acord applications.
- Become a student of the business; pursue insurance knowledge through training and education.
- High School / GED education required; college degree preferred.
- P&C insurance license or related work experience preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not currently licensed.
- Working knowledge of computers and relevant software (e.g., MS Office, Outlook).
- Excellent written, verbal, listening, and organizational skills.
- Strong language, mathematical, analytical, and reasoning ability.
- Team player with sense of urgency when responding to inquiries.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects.
- Attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Willingness to attend internal and external training, classes, and seminars.
- Base pay determined by experience, skills, training, certifications, and education, with consideration of internal equity and market data.
