Springmont School is currently accepting resumes from Middle School and Adolescent Teachers interested in joining our thriving Montessori community for the 2026-27 school year.
Serving 240 students 18 months through 8th grade, Springmont is AMI-recognized and has been providing an exceptional Montessori experience since 1963. In addition to our beautiful 7-acre main campus, which includes a small farm, students benefit from our 86-acre Land school in the northwest Georgia mountains as well as distinctive outdoor science education and fine arts programs.

Our new Middle School Teacher will be part of a close-knit team and should have subject expertise in one or more of the following: math, science, or humanities/social studies. Candidates must also demonstrate:
- High-quality classroom instruction and assessment
- Experience with project, theme-based learning
- Willingness to be a team player, including flexibility and co-planning skills
- Skills in student relationship building that promote mutual respect and our core values
- Willingness to help plan and co-lead approximately (4) multi-day overnight trips per school year
- Ability to teach multi-age classes of 7th and 8th graders
Successful applicants will hold a bachelor’s degree in a related subject and/or education. Montessori adolescent training or knowledge of Montessori pedagogy is desired but not required. Knowledge of Latin is a plus.
