Overview
As Assistant Child Care Operations Lead of Primrose School of Duluth West your dedication to the success of our next generation will ensure we deliver on our mission of bringing the best and most trusted early childhood education and care to the families we serve.
Responsibilities- Create a culture of support within the school (for staff, families and children).
- Cultivate an environment committed to health and safety.
- Learn all essential functions for each position in the school so you can support and inspire.
- Manage operation of the school in the Director’s absence.
- Assist the Director to ensure maximum enrollment and effective cost control.
- Answer phones and email, support compliance, answer questions from parents, filing, supplying teachers with necessary supplies, ordering materials, scheduling tours for prospective families, answering calls from classrooms which may include covering for a teacher, daily laundry, preparation of disinfecting materials, etc.
- A strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community.
- Experience in early childcare center with GA Decal licensing and compliance.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field, or equivalent classroom/teaching experience.
- Must have great verbal and written communication skills, be computer savvy, (know how to use Microsoft Office) write well and be creative making flyers, notices, etc.

HoursHours are 8:30am-5:30pm with a level of flexibility in hours as needed. This position is busy and involves interacting with families and staff, not just a desk job.
