Certified High School Special Education Science Teacher
Georgia Connections Academy is seeking a certified high school special education science teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. This position involves delivering high-quality virtual instruction using the Pearson Online Classroom, providing synchronous and asynchronous instruction, and collaborating with teachers and support staff to ensure student success.
The teacher will work from the Duluth, Georgia, office and from their home office within Georgia. They will be responsible for delivering instruction aligned to GACA curriculum and state standards, providing differentiated instruction, and using assessment data to diagnose student learning needs and plan instruction.
The teacher will also engage with students and families, administer and score assessments, and participate in required in-person activities that may require overnight travel throughout the state of Georgia. Essential skills include a commitment to equitable practice, data-informed instruction, excellent communication, collaboration, and strong organizational skills.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in the content area or related field, a Georgia teaching certification, and a Georgia Clearance Certificate. The teacher must also possess strong technology skills, excellent communication skills, and a student and family-focused approach.
