We are seeking a dedicated professional to apply technical knowledge to design, develop, and maintain electro-mechanical systems. In this role, you will troubleshoot, test, and assemble assemblies, install and calibrate equipment, and assist in developing technical solutions. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and staying current with system advances.
Key Responsibilities- Apply technical knowledge to design, develop, implement, operate, and maintain electro-mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot, test, and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies, including reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment.
- Install, calibrate, test, repair, and upgrade equipment and systems, including device components, control equipment, and facility infrastructure.
- Assist engineers in developing technical solutions for device and system operations.
- Inspect and maintain equipment using tools and diagnostic software.
- Support project goals through effective task completion and decision-making.
- Adhere to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control.
- Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
- High school diploma with technical school certification or equivalent training/experience.
- Five (5) years of related experience with technical certification or seven (7) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment if no technical certification.
- Proven advanced level skills in 2 or more electro-mechanic core disciplines:
Mechanical, Fluid Power (pneumatic, hydraulic), Electrical/Control Systems. - Basic to intermediate knowledge of Electrical control circuits (24
VDC–480
VAC), Instrumentation, VFDs, and PLC-controlled systems (Siemens). - Experience in FDA regulations and safety practices.
- Specialized diploma/degree or industry certification in at least three disciplines (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, control systems, and/or equipment schematics).
- Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Change control, and deviation investigations.
- Ability to support IQ/OQ/PQ activities, Environmental monitoring requirements, Internal and external audit responses.
