What Will You Do?- This position is NOT IT-related. Project Management in a manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate engineering, manufacturing and procurement departments to deliver the project to the customer based on a defined scope, within time and budget.
- Monitor project progress and set deadlines, including milestones, invoices, major material procurement, taking into consideration lead times, shared resources, and commercial priorities.
- Manage the entire project life cycle:
- Project Planning:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. - Execution & Monitoring:
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects. Track project milestones and deliverables. Identify and mitigate risks. - Stakeholder Management:
Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for project-related issues. - Resource Management:
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors. Ensure resource availability and allocation. - Reporting:
Prepare progress reports, proposals, and presentations. Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Project Planning:
- Coordinate and prepare technical cost proposals.
- Compile design submittals and operations & maintenance manuals and ensure all documentation is up to date and aligned with the scope defined in the kickoff meeting.
Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, one day remote.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…- Sitting for long periods of time while working on a computer or talking on the phone.
- Ability to go to a customer worksite if needed.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Bachelor’s degree in business/engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Working knowledge of packaged portable, industrial or groundwater treatment systems and processes preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for interfacing with customers, engineering, sales, etc.
- Practical experience with a variety of water treatment system design and operation a plus.
- High competency with Microsoft Office products:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, project tracking, shared spreadsheets, formulas) are a plus. - Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- PMP or other related certification, highly desirable.
- International project management experience a plus.
