Payments Analyst
The Payments Department at CINC Systems is looking to hire a Payments Analyst
. The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive, out of the box, critical thinker. One who can identify an issue, loves to dig in and research to find the solution. This person must be independent, adaptable, exhibit grit and unwavering determination. The incumbent will work closely with the Electronic Payments Program Manager to provide analysis and operational support for the Payments Department.
- Onboard and update customers on the credit card, Bill Pay, eCheck, Lockbox and AP Payments platforms.
- Investigate and resolve exception payments in match billpay.
- Process payment returns.
- Monitor the credit card portal for any anomalies.
- Conduct Bill Pay analysis to allow us to drive adoption.
- Conduct analysis of AP payment activities and work with our AP payments partner on reporting and resolving payment issues.
- Investigate request from internal teams and external partners.
- Assist with balancing and investigating outages.
- Assist with documenting updated procedures.
- Actively participate in collaborating sessions for department improvement.
- Continuing education on new payments industry standards.
- Knowledge of payment processing is a must (ACH, Wires, Card, Lockbox).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel for scrub file, billing & reporting, as well as analysis of large data sets.
- Basic accounting skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and transparency.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Responsive and customer-focused with a demonstrated use of professional judgment.
- Extremely detail oriented with the ability to think outside of the box, prioritize task and decisions in a timely manner.
- Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended periods of time and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Open to obtaining payments industry certifications.
