Director of Finance And Accounting

The Director of Finance & Accounting will lead accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, banking relationships, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives for a multi-entity organization. The role oversees monthly close and reporting across 15+ subsidiaries and affiliated entities while serving as a key partner to executive leadership.

This position will lead the finance and accounting team, drive financial performance through analysis and forecasting, support strategic decisions through financial modeling, and present financial results, forecasts, and operating plans to executive leadership and ownership.

• Lead accounting and financial reporting across 15+ entities
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Oversee consolidated financial statements and reporting packages
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strengthen internal controls
• Coordinate external audits and financial advisors
• Analyze financial results, KPIs, trends, risks, and opportunities
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team
• Establish goals, performance expectations, and development plans
• Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting
• Provide analysis for strategic initiatives, investments, and operational improvements

• Build financial models for growth, investments, pricing, and business scenarios
• Partner with department leaders on financial decisions and resource allocation
• Advise executive leadership on financial and operational performance
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cash flow, and efficiency
• Support M&A, integrations, and other strategic initiatives

• Partner with sales and operations on customer agreements and deal economics
• Support pricing and contract decisions
• Present budgets, forecasts, operating plans, risks, and opportunities to leadership and ownership
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable business insights

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience
• Multi-entity accounting and consolidated reporting experience
• Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling skills
• Experience managing banking relationships and debt facilities
• Demonstrated team leadership and development experience
• Strong financial analysis, strategic planning, and executive communication skills
• Proficiency with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and Excel

Preferred: CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar designation; experience working with executive leadership/ownership and complex multi-company structures.
