• Overseeing daily patient care operations for the Medical Surgical Department.
• Apply a set of management principles to the smooth operations of the department.
• Exercise independent judgement and decision making in the areas of budget, personnel, patient services, physician relations and administrative or professional programs.
• Maintain twenty-four (24) hour accountability for the assigned area.

• REQUIRED:
  • B.S. degree in Nursing or related healthcare field and a minimum of three (3) years nursing experience, with at least two (2) years in a leadership or managerial capacity; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
• PREFERRED:
  • Master 73s degree in Nursing.
  • Two (2) years clinical experience in specialty area.
  • Prefer at least (5) years experience.
