Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments related to gastrointestinal health.

Assist in diagnostic procedures, treatments, and follow-up care.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Engage in patient education and support to optimize health outcomes.

Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.

Required Skills:

Valid state certification/licenses as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.

Strong clinical knowledge in gastroenterology.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to perform procedures and work effectively within a team.

Commitment to patient-centered care and confidentiality.

Nice to Have

Skills:

Prior experience in gastroenterology or related specialties.

Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.

Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Master's degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing.

At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology or a similar setting preferred.

Other Requirements:

Flexibility to work standard Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm.

Willingness to reach out for specialized skills if needed.

Valid licensure, certifications, and applicable reimbursements such as travel or licensure support.
