As a Convention Services Manager, you will coordinate and execute group events from planning through completion, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. You’ll serve as the primary liaison between clients and hotel departments, managing all logistics to ensure flawless meetings, conferences, and conventions. This role requires strong communication, organization, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Build excellent relationships with clients and hotel associates to ensure all hotel events are seamlessly turned over from sales to service and back to sales.
- Create BEOs and group resumes, communicate client expectations to the hotel team, and maximize revenue opportunities by up‑selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
- A college degree or two years of hotel experience.
- Previous experience in a similar or related position.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
