An established and well-respected law firm in Northeast Georgia is seeking a Law Firm Administrator to oversee the firm’s daily administrative, HR, and operational functions. This is a key leadership role responsible for supporting attorneys and staff, maintaining efficient office operations, and acting as a liaison between partners and staff.
The ideal candidate brings prior law firm or professional services administration experience, strong organizational skills, and a practical understanding of HR policies, benefits administration, and office management.
Key Responsibilities Firm Operations & LeadershipAttend partner meetings and assist with administrative planning and follow-up
Support firm leadership with operational and personnel matters
Coordinate partner, associate, and staff retreats, dinners, and firm events
Maintain office directories, staff tenure records, and birthday recognitions
Manage firm holiday calendars and office-wide scheduling considerations
Lead hiring and recruitment efforts for staff and attorney roles
Coordinate onboarding and orientation for all new employees
Oversee associate and staff annual review processes
Handle day-to-day employee relations and personnel matters
Maintain personnel files and ensure HR compliance
Manage interns and the firm’s summer clerk program, including:
OCI interview coordination
Offer and declination letters
Social programming
Workload and project monitoring
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, and overtime requirements
Oversee and maintain proper personnel documentation
Assist with policy updates and HR best practices
Coordinate insurance renewals and serve as liaison with brokers/vendors, including:
Serve as backup 401(k) Plan Administrator
Assist as backup for payroll processing
Oversee website updates (additions, changes, deletions)
Support internal communications and firm-wide initiatives
Help maintain a positive, professional, and well‑run office environment
Prior experience in law firm or professional services administration strongly preferred
Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment compliance
Experience with benefits and insurance administration
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Proficient with standard office and HR/payroll systems
Stable, established firm environment

$90,000-$120,000 per year
