Job Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist with 3-5 years of progressive HR experience to support day-to-day HR operations and employee engagement initiatives at Century Fire Protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations issues, including investigations and recommending resolutions.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Assist with policy administration and interpretation.
  • Support performance management processes.
  • Ensure accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Prepare month‑end and ad‑hoc HR reports.
  • Advise management on workforce planning, organizational development, and HR best practices.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Facilitate HR programs and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on complex HR issues, policies, and compliance matters.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3-5 years progressive HR experience in a Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Paycom preferred).
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with HR metrics and reporting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in construction, service, or multi‑location environments is a plus.
Workplace

Position based in Duluth, GA. Requires 5 days in‑office; no remote or hybrid options.
