Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist with 3-5 years of progressive HR experience to support day-to-day HR operations and employee engagement initiatives at Century Fire Protection.
Key Responsibilities- Manage employee relations issues, including investigations and recommending resolutions.
- Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Assist with policy administration and interpretation.
- Support performance management processes.
- Ensure accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare month‑end and ad‑hoc HR reports.
- Advise management on workforce planning, organizational development, and HR best practices.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Facilitate HR programs and initiatives.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on complex HR issues, policies, and compliance matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 3-5 years progressive HR experience in a Generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Paycom preferred).
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HR metrics and reporting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in construction, service, or multi‑location environments is a plus.
Position based in Duluth, GA. Requires 5 days in‑office; no remote or hybrid options.
