Location:

Compensation: $63,000–$69,000 base salary (subject to compensation study upon candidate selection)

Overview

GLOVIS America, a global third‑party logistics provider headquartered in Irvine, California, is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to support its Freight Forwarding operations. This role is responsible for driving recruiting execution, workforce planning coordination, employee relations support, and HR operational governance across the business.

This position goes beyond traditional recruiting administration by partnering closely with operational leadership to support staffing readiness, workforce visibility, compliance alignment, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in recruiting operations, HR process coordination, and employee support within fast‑paced operational environments.

Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Lead recruiting execution activities to fulfill approved staffing requirements across operational teams
  • Partner with operations leadership to align hiring priorities, timelines, and workforce planning needs
  • Identify recruiting bottlenecks, staffing gaps, and hiring risks while driving corrective action plans
  • Support workforce visibility, headcount tracking, and organizational planning initiatives
  • Oversee recruitment processes through final hiring stages to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance
HR Operations & Governance
  • Maintain structured HR reporting and workforce documentation processes
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices across assigned business areas
  • Support governance routines, audit readiness, and process compliance initiatives
  • Monitor and elevate employee relations, compliance, or reputational risks as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records related to employee relations matters, investigations, and outcomes
Performance Management & Reporting
  • Support performance management processes through reporting, tracking, and documentation oversight
  • Provide leadership with reporting insights related to workforce trends, performance risks, and calibration inconsistencies
  • Ensure performance‑related processes are properly documented and aligned with internal governance standards
Employee Communication & Culture Support
  • Assist in developing and implementing employee communication initiatives to improve engagement and organizational transparency
  • Support on‑site culture‑building activities and employee engagement efforts
  • Partner with leadership and HR teams to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment
Experience Required Experience & Skills
  • 5–8 years of direct Human Resources experience required
  • 6–9 years of related HR experience preferred
  • Experience supporting recruiting operations, workforce planning, or HR process coordination strongly preferred
  • Experience with in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or operational environments preferred

Education
