Position Summary

The HR Business Partner is responsible for delivering customized service solutions that positively impact the client's business, resulting in client retention and growth. The role engages with clients to consult, implement, and monitor Human Resources related deliverables, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with targeted HR‑centric clients delivering defined HR services as per the global service model.
  • Interact with clients to understand their business model, drivers, HR practices, goals, and objectives.
  • Provide customized solutions—handbooks, job descriptions, performance evaluation systems, compensation plans, hiring/on‑boarding processes—based on internal standards, HR best practices, and prompt issue resolution.
  • Identify legal and regulatory compliance concerns, partner with clients on employee coaching, counseling, reductions in force, and off‑boarding strategy.
  • Recommend training to improve business operations and minimize liability.
  • Document all client interactions in the HRIS in a timely manner.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations investigations.
  • Provide results of investigations to HR Manager and Regional AVP.
  • Submit subpoenas/claims within deadlines.
  • Act as liaison between clients and internal operations to maintain positive relationships.
  • Lead client retention processes to mitigate at‑risk relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agents to achieve high client retention rates.
  • Set up and train users on our client‑facing payroll and reporting software.
  • Facilitate solutions proactively as challenges arise.
  • Maintain open communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Assist in tracking and completing team projects and initiatives.
  • Review weekly and monthly reports to support client retention and trend analysis.
  • Track client repricing requests to ensure timely responses.
  • Analyze data, review procedures, and maintain client records.
  • Coordinate resolution of client issues.
  • Oversee operational structural needs to ensure data integrity.
  • Nurture relationships with business owners, contact persons, marketing agents, and internal staff.
  • Escalate and resolve concerns raised by clients or internal departments.
  • Monitor service level agreements and flag potential issues.
  • Assist with execution of service plans by evaluating activity progress.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and gather client feedback.
  • Build cross‑functional partnerships and identify process improvements.
  • Manage client expectations in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Champion adoption of new products and services for clients.
  • Communicate compliance changes to clients in various formats.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Process memos, correspondence, and documents.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
  • Attend trainings to stay updated on laws and best practices.
  • Travel locally or long distance as required to meet clients.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal effectiveness at all levels and across cultures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR best practices and federal, state, and local laws.
  • Experience in employee relations, organizational diagnosis, performance management, recruitment, compensation and benefits.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and ability to learn other applications.
  • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to apply change‑management initiatives.
  • Strong judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
