Human Resources Payroll Coordinator

LHH is seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Coordinator to join their team in Duluth, GA. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting payroll operations, employee onboarding, recruiting efforts, and day-to-day HR administration. • Support payroll processing, including audits, wage calculations, overtime, bonuses, and employee pay adjustments.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data, including new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Assist employees with payroll and HR-related questions.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, including employment documentation and new hire paperwork.
• Source and screen candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and professional networks.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
• Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and HR documentation.
• Support HR projects, compliance efforts, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience supporting HR and payroll functions.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms;
  Dayforce experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll processing, onboarding, employee records management, and recruiting best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

• Experience supporting HR and payroll in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with federal and state payroll and employment regulations.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
