Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for a growing construction organization. This position will be responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies to attract, identify, interview, and hire high-quality talent across both construction/field positions and corporate office roles. The ideal candidate is a highly proactive recruiter with a proven ability to source hard-to-find candidates, build strong talent pipelines, partner with hiring managers, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing and screening through interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding
- Develop creative and effective sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates in the construction industry
- Recruit for a broad range of positions, including construction/field professionals as well as office and corporate positions
- Utilize Linked In, job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other sourcing tools to identify passive and active candidates
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified talent for current and anticipated openings
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and candidate profiles
- Conduct phone and virtual interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, communication skills, and cultural fit
- Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Manage offer processes and assist with negotiations as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with candidates to create a strong long-term talent network
- Track recruiting activity, candidate pipelines, and hiring metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and overall time-to-fill
- Represent the company professionally and promote its culture and employment opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years of professional recruiting experience
- Proven experience sourcing candidates within the construction industry
- Experience recruiting for both field/construction positions and office professional roles
- Strong experience with candidate sourcing, passive candidate recruiting, and talent pipeline development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment abilities
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously - Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented
- Ability to work effectively with hiring managers and candidates at all levels
