Onsite Maintenance Engineer

This position requires the applicant to have working knowledge of AV over IP system designs and concepts within a large corporate enterprise environment. Must have good AV and IP networking skills as well as ability to setup lab mock‑up of solutions to test and document AV over IP solutions for global enterprise deployment. Primary role will be to work with internal engineering teams and third‑party manufacturers / vendors to design, document, and certify equipment for deployment which will include setup and documentation of lab equipment to test and certify IP video solutions.

System solutions will include IPTV head‑end design and signal distribution across campuses worldwide and AV over IP solutions for switching & processing and video distribution within conference centres, auditoriums including AV control.

• Creation of design documentation in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and CAD.
• Ability to work in a large, complex corporate environment. Must be able to work independently and with others who may be in different groups and remotely located.
• Work with security teams to verify that components and end‑to‑end design solutions meet corporate security requirements. This can include network security & compliance, integration with enterprise corporate , secure integration with videoconferencing systems and services, video streaming services and digital signage.
