The EC W&D Manager is responsible for overseeing transportation operations across Drayage, OTR, Intermodal, and specialized transportation services, ensuring the delivery of efficient and reliable logistics solutions. This role manages transportation execution, carrier coordination, customer support, and operational issue resolution to maintain service quality and operational excellence.
A key responsibility of this position is leading the company's Third-Party Logistics (TPL) business operations centered around the Savannah Warehouse. The role drives operational stability, process standardization, productivity improvement, cost optimization, and service enhancements to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
In addition, the EC W&D Manager proactively manages operational risks, customer escalations, and transportation disruptions while leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, service performance, and overall profitability.

Compensation Range: $94,413 - $105,630 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations (Ocean, Air, Drayage, OTR)
- Ability to supervise daily operations and manage team performance
- Experience with TMS / ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills
- Ability to manage KPIs (On-time delivery, cost, service quality)
- Effective communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams
- Basic financial understanding (cost, revenue, margin)
- Leadership skills (coaching, training, performance management)
- Data analysis and reporting skills (Excel or Power BI)
Education & Experience:
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7-10 years of Freight Forwarding Operations (Ocean, Air, Drayage) Transportation Management (OTR, Intermodal) experience
- 1-3 years supervisory experience
- Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- 10+ years of Freight Forwarding Operations (Ocean, Air, Drayage) Transportation Management (OTR, Intermodal) experience
- Automotive or manufacturing logistics experience, Warehouse & Distribution coordination experience
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification
