Job Summary

Under limited direction, the Senior Technical Project Manager (DAS) oversees the full lifecycle of Distributed Antenna System projects—from post‑sales handoff through final deployment. This role is responsible for project direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and close‑out. Core responsibilities include validating system scope, developing detailed deployment plans, creating and managing final Bills of Materials (BOMs), tracking construction progress and financials, and coordinating internal teams and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution
  • Develop and manage full‑scale DAS project plans, including scheduling, construction phases, integration timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Translate sales scope documents into finalized implementation plans and construction‑ready documentation.
  • Create and validate final BOM orders; coordinate materials procurement and delivery schedules.
  • Track construction progress, installation milestones, and overall project financials.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Clearly communicate plans, deliverables, risks, and status updates to team members, leadership, customers, and contractor partners.
  • Keep all stakeholders aligned to project expectations, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, reporting, and dashboards.
Risk, Change & Issue Management
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, or resources while maintaining alignment with customer expectations.
  • Proactively detect deviations in construction, integration, or deployment and initiate corrective actions.
Team Leadership
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate internal team members and external contractors.
  • Drive accountability across field crews, engineering, commissioning teams, and vendors.
  • Provide leadership that fosters collaboration, efficiency, and high‑quality deliverables.
Operations & Materials Management
  • Oversee materials tracking, warehousing, distribution, and returns for DAS equipment.
  • Ensure equipment readiness for field deployment and integration.
  • Support operational workflows that improve project efficiency and reduce delays.
Personal Qualities
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Sound judgment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and direct teams to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, ideally within DAS, wireless, telecom, RF engineering, or construction project management.
  • Deep understanding of project planning, cost management, scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving project execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship‑building skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and/or similar project management and reporting tools.
  • PMP certification is a plus
Working Conditions
  • Hybrid role with both office and field responsibilities.
  • Requires use of standard office and field equipment.
  • Work may involve indoor and outdoor environments with variable conditions.
  • Regional travel required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
