About The Role
The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and productive operation of our physical facilities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for building maintenance, landlord relations, and vendor management. The Facilities Manager will oversee daily operations, coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance, and ensure all site services are delivered to high standards, keeping our buildings fully operational, compliant, and optimized for business needs.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Building Operations:
Oversee the daily “up and running” status of the facility, including HVAC, lighting, security, and general building systems. - Vendor Management:
Manage service contracts, negotiate terms, monitor performance, and oversee third‑party vendors (cleaning, landscaping, security, etc.) to ensure quality and cost‑effectiveness. - Maintenance:
Plan and coordinate both routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. - Landlord Relations:
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and the building owner/property management to resolve facility‑related issues, manage lease compliance, and discuss facility improvements. - Compliance & Safety:
Ensure the workplace meets all local safety, fire, and health regulations. - Oversee national‑wide locations with synergy and support of local management.
- Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent in relevant experience.
- Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and fire suppression systems). - Project Management:
Ability to manage facility improvement projects, renovations, or space planning initiatives. - Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with landlords, contractors, and internal stakeholders at all levels. - Problem‑Solving:
Ability to act decisively during facility emergencies (e.g., power outages, water leaks) to minimize business disruption. - CAD is desirable.
- 5+ years’ experience.
