We are looking for a dynamic individual who has a strong attention to detail and understanding of manufacturing processes with the goal of ensuring efficiency, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate and select qualified suppliers for specific components, materials or services.
  • Review engineering specs, and project requirements to ensure procured items meet technical standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve quality/delivery issues, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Implement and drive procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets and improve production workflows.
  • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and take quality control measures to ensure that product specifications are met.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for production processes, standard operating procedures and quality standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and process-related issues on the production floor.
  • Implement quality measures to ensure finished products meet internal standards and customer expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings related to materials, equipment and operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering field required.
  • 5 plus years’ experience in procurement and/or production.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Advanced experience working in MS Excel required. Experience w/ Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.
  • Self-starter w/ excellent analytical and organizational skills. Must be detailed oriented.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
