SMT Machine Operator

We are actively seeking an SMT operator. We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience working in a PCB assembly environment and the ability to adapt to new machines. Previous experience with Yamaha machines is preferred but optional. IPC‑certified solder is a plus. Salary: $21 – $24 per hour

Associate

• Operate Surface Mount Technology advanced placement machines.
• Change out feeders and identify components per work instructions; troubleshoot and correct problems.
• Identify different electronic component types, including value and polarity.
• Obtain or maintain soldering certifications.
• Stand, lift, bend, twist, and reach as required while following supervisor instructions.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and teamwork.
• Improve SMT manufacturing process steps where possible.
• Take initiative to get the equipment operations area up and running if the first to arrive.
• Coordinate with other Machine Operators to streamline the overall PCB assembly process.
• Solder PTH components on initial articles to allow for testing.

• Work in a smoke‑free environment.
• Stand for 8 hours at one time.
• Work weekends.

• Electronic PCB builds – 2 years of experience required.
• Electronic machine operation – 2 years of experience required.
