Our Duluth office is seeking a Production Technician for our Engraving Solutions business, which sells through our Brady and Gravotech brands. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day completion of production work orders, quality testing and accuracy of paperwork associated with these tasks. This individual will also support continuous improvement in all areas of the business with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency consistent with Lean manufacturing principles.
This is an on-site role at our location in Duluth, GA
.
- Execute and complete machine production work orders accurately, to a strict quality standard and on schedule, while also being able to prioritize jobs based on current business requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of components identified as faulty during the manufacturing process to maintain an efficient workflow, and documenting issues to aid in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Recommend and implement changes to work areas and processes for improved efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Assemble or configure items for sales kits that do not require a work order, ensuring all parts are of acceptable quality.
- Perform modifications to stock machines as needed.
- Will perform additional duties as needed.
- Associates degree or at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience troubleshooting electro‑mechanical machines.
- An understanding of lean manufacturing.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Effective problem solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to exhibit a motivated, self‑starter work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
