Our Duluth office is seeking a Production Technician for our Engraving Solutions business, which sells through our Brady and Gravotech brands. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day completion of production work orders, quality testing and accuracy of paperwork associated with these tasks. This individual will also support continuous improvement in all areas of the business with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency consistent with Lean manufacturing principles.

.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Execute and complete machine production work orders accurately, to a strict quality standard and on schedule, while also being able to prioritize jobs based on current business requirements.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of components identified as faulty during the manufacturing process to maintain an efficient workflow, and documenting issues to aid in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Recommend and implement changes to work areas and processes for improved efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Assemble or configure items for sales kits that do not require a work order, ensuring all parts are of acceptable quality.
  • Perform modifications to stock machines as needed.
  • Will perform additional duties as needed.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
  • Associates degree or at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience troubleshooting electro‑mechanical machines.
  • An understanding of lean manufacturing.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective problem solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to exhibit a motivated, self‑starter work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
