Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
What We Need
Duluth, GA location is seeking a Machine Repair Technician for our Engraving Solutions business, which sells through our Brady and Gravotech brands. This individual will be responsible for mechanical maintenance and repairs on industrial rotary and laser marking equipment to ensure machinery works to a high standard. This role requires a strong electro‑mechanical aptitude, a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work area, and excellent customer‑facing skills.
This is an on‑site role at our office located in Duluth, GA
.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs and troubleshooting for malfunctioning or damaged equipment.
- Deliver professional customer support while upholding a high standard of customer‑facing service.
- Utilize SAP to oversee and ensure the availability of site parts inventory.
- Organize and monitor repair cases using the Salesforce platform, maintaining comprehensive notes and real‑time status updates.
- Perform regular inspections and testing of production machinery.
- Ensure the workspace remains organized, clean, and hazard‑free at all times.
- 3 years of experience in a machine repair or field service role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Training in electro‑mechanical concepts is desired but not required.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic understanding of measurements, computations, and calculations.
- Proficiency with SAP and Salesforce (or similar ERP/CRM systems) is highly preferred.
