Experienced Maintenance Mechanic

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs on manufacturing, packaging, conveying, and facilities equipment. You will handle component‑level repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.

12‑Hour Nights (5pm/6pm – 5:30am/6:30am) on a 2‑week rotation.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.
• Ability to work independently during the night shift while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Commitment to full attendance during the mandatory 7‑week onboarding window.

• Participate in the “Sika SAFE” program.
• Execute work orders & PMs; troubleshoot as needed.
• Process equipment includes mixers, piping systems, valves, pumps, instrumentation & controls.
• Packaging equipment includes conveyors, fillers, palletizers, robotics, and material handling.
• Facilities & other equipment includes forklift trucks, dock equipment, HVAC, overhead doors, and plumbing.
• Primary desired skills include mechanical, pipe fitting, basic electrical, welding, and/or minor fabrication.

• Work in a smoke‑free environment.
• Wear steel‑toe shoes.
• Manual lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 11 hours at one time.
• Work weekends.

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Entry‑level experience level.
• High School education.

Salary range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year.

Shift: First.

Work hours:

8 AM – 6 PM.
