Electrical Technician
WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for an Electrical Technician in our Panel Shop. You will be responsible for wiring, testing, and troubleshooting the panels that control equipment such as motors, compressors.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Wires electrical controls panels following layout, work instructions, and appropriate standards.
- Reads and interprets electrical schematics to properly wire control panels.
- Assists line specialist with training of new employees.
- Works independently with very little direction from Line Specialist or Supervisor
Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
Experience:
- 2+ year of wiring experience
- Required - 4+ years of related experience
- Reads and interprets electrical schematics
- Required - Uses power tools
- Required - Uses basic hand tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, socket sets) - Required
