Mechanical Assembler - Temp to hire

A growing manufacturer in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join its team. This hands‑on role puts you right where the work gets done – building precision assemblies, fine‑tuning mechanisms, and turning fabricated parts into products that meet exacting standards.

5am-1:30pm Monday-Friday

$18.00-$22.00/hr depending on experience

• Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations according to product specifications.
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements.
• Assemble mechanical components for front and rear panels, chassis, housings, cabinets, enclosures, and large mechanical assemblies.
• Assemble precision electro‑mechanical equipment, fitting and aligning mechanical parts into housings for smooth operation.
• Install interconnect wiring and assemblies into enclosures when needed.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and simple measuring devices.
• Follow well‑defined assembly documentation that outlines the mechanical assembly process.
• Clean and maintain equipment daily.
• Follow all safety guidelines and meet scheduling requirements to complete tasks on time.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a sheet metal environment.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use standard tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
