Sanitation Worker

Now hiring 3rd shift Sanitation Workers for a food manufacturing company.

Pay rate: $18.40/hr.

Schedule:

9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday to Friday

Job Duties:

• Provides cleaning process of machinery, kettles, tanks, pumps, heat exchangers, and product lines.
• Apply Manufacturing Practices as well as Good Cleaning Practices.
• Ensures production equipment is properly labeled and tagged after being cleaned.
• Ensure safe handling of the same at all times.
• Reports to Maintenance any equipment concerns.
• Performs other related duties and special assignments as required.
• Initiate requests for cleaning and service supplies before stock out.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in a neat and orderly manner.
• Use a forklift to move totes and pallets out of the way
• Perform other duties or special projects.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to follow some routine, repetitive tasks.
• Ability to maintain and operate powered cleaning, service equipment and trash compactor.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work, exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently, performing such activities as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, pinching and grasping are possible.
• Ability to operate power equipment for material handling.
